DigiScan
provide document scanning for two specific solutions.
The
first is purely for archival purposes whereby we scan and
publish all your documents onto customised CD-ROMs with
stand-alone software, thus enabling you to access and view
all your data via our indexed database. This data may then
be shared (faxed or e-mailed) or printed without the need
to purchase any additional software. Back-up copies of each
CD for security and multiple access (critical in a busy
office environment) are included free of charge.
The
second solution is aimed at those who already have a document
management software package in place, or are in the process
of having one installed by DigiScan and require their paper
archive to be incorporated into this package. If the archive
is to be scanned into an existing package, we familiarise
ourselves with your software and process the scanned and
indexed data directly into your document management system.
Where
applicable DigiScan's Document Preparation option is available.
We will separate bound and stapled material (such as manuals,
magazines, catalogues etc), and interpret all the documentation
(discarding unneeded duplicates etc.). This eliminates time-consuming
preparation of data at your end.
If
you are unsure just how much data you have, there can be
up to 20,000 documents in a full four-door filing cabinet
- we can put two such filing cabinets onto one CD.
