Graphical
Information Systems are key to the analysis and
management of planning data. Quick access to database information
through GIS enables various departments to cross-promote
and share data that may be of mutual benefit. To achieve
this, mapped information is converted electronically and
stored as points, lines or polygons. DigiScan will work
with your existing paper based mapping information, digitise
critical information and create links to database information.
Our
digitising service is highly competitive in terms
of both time and cost. Using the latest software we can
offer both manual and automatic digitising services. Once
we are provided with a hardcopy we will assess the work
involved, estimate a time for completion and, based on those
findings, provide a costing. All digitised drawings will
be provided in whatever file format is required.
DigiScan
will scan original images to scale and, with each image,
directly overlay and manually digitise. All maps can be
trimmed and geo-referenced to national grid systems if necessary.
