Quality
The fi-4120C offers high quality output resolution up
to 600dpi. Control over error diffusion, colour dropout
and gamma correction via the driver allows a wide variety

Additional features
With a slide away output tray the scanner can be positioned
near the users workstation for ease of use. When not
in use the scanner reverts to a standby mode using only
12 watts of power. |

 The
Fujitsu fi-4340C scanner is the first scanner in the
range that uses a 600dpi camera enabling extremely high
quality scans ideally suited for scanning of graphics
for web or DTP projects. The fi-4340C also offers the
ability to scan at up to 40 pages per minute in simplex
(76ipm duplex) and 16 pages per minute in colour (29ipm
duplex). The
ADF has a capacity of 100 sheets and can scan from A8
size up to A4. |

The scanner offers users the option of a JPEG compression
board that can be installed in the third party slot.
An imprinter is also available that allows backside
printing of up to 40 characters in a line to confirm
that the document has been scanned. |

| The
fi-4530C is an entry level A3 scanner bundled with Adobe
Acrobat 5.0 |
 The
fi-4530C is an entry level A3 capable scanner equipped
with a 100 sheet capacity ADF that has a foldaway output
tray, thereby keeping the footprint size to a minimum.
The ADF is ideal for un-attended scanning of multipage
documents and batches and can scan any paper size from
A8 to A3.
The fi-4530C offers high speed scanning at 45ppm (150dpi)
and 35ppm ( 200dpi) in both colour and mono. The duplex
facility allows the contents of both sides of a documents
to be captured in one pass. High speed colour images
at up to 600 dpi can be scanned using the built in JPEG
compression.
Bundled with the scanner is Adobe Acrobat 5.0 allowing
users to easily convert documents to PDF files, the
de-facto standard for electronic distribution.
The scanner has both a SCSI2 and USB 2 interface providing
true plug and play flexability, It can reliably detect
double feed documents using its ultrasonic detectors.

fi-4990C combines very high speed colour scanning with
highly reliable paper feeding, for the ultimate performance
and reliability.
Aimed for both document and data-capture applications
where upwards of 10,000 documents a day are scanned
the M4099D sets the standard with revolutionary paper
handling techniques.
Using "Dynamic feeding" the scanner adjusts
the roller tension in the feeder automatically to the
optimum for the documents being fed. This does not impact
on the scanner speed and sets the standard for applications
where scanning of mixed documents is required.
The M4099D has an excellent duty cycle and proven reliabilty
in several famous scanning projects, one such example
is the Italian population census where 31 M4099D scanners
where chosen to 2.3 million documents a day at more
than 6,000 documents an hour.
